Here I am sketching in the dunes near the Wood End Light (House) - Its about a 40 minute walk from Provincetown.

P-Town Rooftops

This was one of the views from our rooftop deck at the condo we stayed at in Provincetown. We pretty much had a 270deg. view from the deck. We spent many hours just sitting looking at the ocean. 

Provincetown

This small sketch of Provincetown was painted on site when the tide was out.  P-Town has 9-10 foot tides twice daily.  When the tide is out you have a couple hours to walk out onto the flats to explore and of course paint!

It has been a while since my last post. It has been a very busy summer. I have a new series of sketches done in oil that I have started and intend to add to daily - kind of a asketch a day practice.  My goal for the next year is to treat sketching as a meditation in action - As Frederick Franck would call "Zen Seeing/Drawing".
